Typical [savings](https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/spot/pricing/)\nof running self-managed EC2 Spot instances are around 5x compared to [RDS](https://aws.amazon.com/rds/postgresql/pricing/).\n\nObviously not meant for all projects as a general RDS replacement, as Spot could mean more service interruptions for longer\nterm setups. Data remains persistent though!\n\nOn the other hand - Spot eviction rates are insanely good for the price! User input can come in 3 forms:\n - CLI/Env parameters a la `--region`, `--instance-name`, `--ram-min`, `--private-ip-only`. Note that in CLI mode not all\n features can be configured and some common choices are made for the user\n - A YAML manifest as literal text via `--manifest`/`MANIFEST`\n - A YAML manifest file via `--manifest-path`/`MANIFEST_PATH`.
