To get this running: 1.) Install cvmfs: $ sudo apt-get install cvmfs cvmfs-config-default
2.) In /etc/cvmfs/default.local add:
CVMFS_REPOSITORIES=atlas.cern.ch,atlas-condb.cern.ch,atlas-nightlies.cern.ch,sft.cern.ch CVMFS_QUOTA_LIMIT=10000 CVMFS_HTTP_PROXY="DIRECT"
3.) Check installation with: $ sudo service autofs start $ sudo cvmfs_config killall $ sudo cvmfs_config setup $ sudo cvmfs_config chksetup
4.) Mount cvmfs
sudo service autofs stop sudo mkdir -p /cvmfs/atlas.cern.ch sudo mkdir -p /cvmfs/atlas-condb.cern.ch sudo mkdir -p /cvmfs/atlas-nightlies.cern.ch sudo mkdir -p /cvmfs/sft.cern.ch sudo mount -t cvmfs atlas.cern.ch /cvmfs/atlas.cern.ch sudo mount -t cvmfs atlas-condb.cern.ch /cvmfs/atlas-condb.cern.ch sudo mount -t cvmfs atlas-nightlies.cern.ch /cvmfs/atlas-nightlies.cern.ch sudo mount -t cvmfs sft.cern.ch /cvmfs/sft.cern.ch
5.)Add something like this to your .basrc to start the container with $ slc function slc(){ echo "Starting CERN Scientific Linux ..." xhost + > /dev/null docker run --net host -i -t -e DISPLAY=$DISPLAY -e USER=$USER -v /cvmfs/atlas.cern.ch:/cvmfs/atlas.cern.ch -v /cvmfs/atlas-condb.cern.ch:/cvmfs/atlas-condb.cern.ch -v /cvmfs/atlas-nightlies.cern.ch:/cvmfs/atlas-nightlies.cern.ch -v /cvmfs/sft.cern.ch:/cvmfs/sft.cern.ch -v $HOME:$HOME -v $HOME/.globus:/root/.globus philippgadow/lxplus }
