(SDN Openflow Controller)

Floodlight⁠ is an OpenFlow controller, usefull when you've got many (v)-switches that speak the openflow protocol on your infrastructure.

Floodlight is traditionally used in conjunction with applications⁠ on top of it (Openstack Neutron, others...)

⁠What's is in this image ?

• Based on library/java:7 image
• Floodlight JAR and default configuration, see Floodlight: getting started⁠.
• Expose port 6653 (openflow controller) and 8080 (API / WUI).

⁠Usage

⁠Deploy

docker run -d -p 6653 -p 8080 --name=floodlight pierrecdn/floodlight

⁠Call the Floodlight REST API⁠

curl -X GET http://<host>:8080/wm/core/controller/switches/json

⁠Load the WUI

http://<host>:8080/ui/index.html
