Image with NVM and GitLab CI dependencies for running NodeJS in GitLab CI Runners
2.3K
nodejs-23, latestnodejs-22nodejs-20nodejs-18As we upgrade to newer versions of NodeJS, we should always tag the images with the versions of NodeJS that are pre-installed in the container. That way people who need a specific version of NodeJS can use that specific tag and trust that nothing will be upgraded without their knowledge. However, most people should just use latest to stay up-to-date with versions.
We should pre-install the latest version of NodeJS, as well as all supported LTS versions.
You can see the pre-installed versions using the nvm list --no-alias command:
$ docker run --rm pint/ci-nodejs:latest /bin/bash -c 'nvm list --no-alias'
v18.20.7 *
v20.18.3 *
v22.14.0 *
-> v23.9.0 *
