Pintexx Workplace is a WEB-ONLY ecosystem with perfect harmony between the WEB-ONLY platform and WEB-ONLY applications.
The platform is based on Linux and uses Docker for running applications inside containers. You could also call it a Docker Web GUI.

One part of Pintexx Workplace is COCKPIT, a web desktop and Identity Provider for different authentications methods like FIDO2 and diverse MFA options. Please find more information at Pintexx Workplace COCKPIT.
To run COCKPIT just use this command:
docker run --restart=always --name cockpit --volume ../mount:/host --hostname cockpit -e PW_SYSTEM=0 -e PW_IP=192.168.1.128 --publish 6001:5000 --publish 8890:8890 -t -d pintexx/cockpit
After running the container point your browser to ip:port/cockpit to enter your admin password and login to the admin area.
Environment variables:
| PW_SYSTEM | Has always value of 1, tells the app that it runs outside of the platform |
| PW_IP | The IP of the host |
| PW_GUID | A unique GUID per server, only required for reporting |
| --volume ./mount:/host | The path where persistance shall be made |
| 5000 | The port, the application is running. In the sample mapped to port 6001 |
| 8890 | When administration shall work only for a local port |
