This image contains base Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS OS with Apache, and made the source code freely available under the MIT⁠.

Images includes:

• Ubuntu: Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS buit using pixelhyperlinkdockers/ubuntu image

Images includes Ubunu Packages:

• apache2: Apache HTTP Server
• __apache2-doc __: Apache HTTP Server (on-site documentation)
• apache2-utils: Apache HTTP Server (utility programs for web servers)
• libapache2-mod-fastcgi: Apache 2 FastCGI module for long-running CGI scripts
• libapache2-mod-mapcache: tile caching server - Apache module
• libapache2-mod-geoip: GeoIP support for apache2
• libapache2-mod-upload-progress: upload progress support for the Apache web server
• libapache2-mod-security2: Tighten web applications security for Apache
• libapache2-mod-form: Apache module to decode data submitted from Web forms
• libapache2-mod-log-slow: Apache module for logging of slow requests handling

⁠Pre-Setup

$ mkdir -p data_storage/www data_storage/log/apache2
$ echo -e "<html>\n<body>\nHello World\n</body>\n</html>" > data_storage/www/index.html

⁠Building Container using image

$ docker build -t pixelhyperlinkdockers/apacheserver ./
OR
$ docker-compose build

⁠Running the Container

$ docker run --name apacheserver -ti -p 22:22 -p 80:80 -p 443:443 -e SSH_USER=$user -e SSH_USER_PASSWORD=$password -e APACHE_USER=$user -v ./data_storage/www:/www/base_site -v ./data_storage/log/apache2:/var/log/apache2 pixelhyperlinkdockers/apacheserver
OR
$ docker-compose up -d
