This image contains base Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS OS with Redis, and made the source code freely available under the MIT⁠.

⁠Docker image details:-

Images includes:

  • Ubuntu: Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS buit using pixelhyperlinkdockers/ubuntu image

Images includes Ubunu Packages:

  • redis-server: Persistent key-value database with network interface
⁠Pre-Setup
$ mkdir -p data_storage/lib/redis data_storage/log/redis
⁠Building Container using image
$ docker build -t pixelhyperlinkdockers/redisserver ./
OR
$ docker-compose build
⁠Running the Container
$ docker run --name redisserver -ti -p 22:22 -p 6379:6379 -e SSH_USER=$user -e SSH_USER_PASSWORD=$password -e REDIS_PASSWORD=$redis_pwd -e REDIS_DATA_DIR=$path -v ./data_storage/lib/redis:/var/lib/redis -v ./data_storage/log/redis:/var/log/redis pixelhyperlinkdockers/redisserver
OR
$ docker-compose up -d
