This image contains base Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS OS with Packetbeat, Heartbeat, Metricsbeat and munin node, and made the source code freely available under the MIT⁠.

⁠Docker image details:-

Images includes:

• Ubuntu: Ubuntu Server 16.04 LTS built using pixelhyperlinkdockers/ubuntu image

Images includes Ubunu Packages:

• apt-transport-https: TCP/IP swiss army knife -- transitional package
• netcat: Lightweight Shipper for Network Data
• packetbeat: Lightweight Shipper for Network Data
• heartbeat: Lightweight Shipper for Uptime Monitoring
• metricbeat: Lightweight Shipper for Metrics
• munin-node: network-wide graphing framework (node)

⁠Pre-Setup

$ mkdir -p data_storage/log/munin data_storage/log/packetbeat data_storage/log/heartbeat data_storage/log/metricbeat

⁠Building Container using image

$ docker build -t pixelhyperlinkdockers/monitor ./
OR
$ docker-compose build

⁠Running the Container

$ docker run --name systemmonitor -ti -v ./data_storage/log/packetbeat:/var/log/packetbeat -v ./data_storage/log/heartbeat:/var/log/heartbeat -v ./data_storage/log/metricbeat:/var/log/metricbeat -v ./data_storage/log/munin:/var/log/munin pixelhyperlinkdockers/monitor
OR
$ docker-compose up -d
