Plix — a gradually typed language with an interpreter and a native compiler.
59
Official image for the Plix programming language toolchain.
Plix is a small, gradually typed language with an interpreter and a Cranelift-based native compiler. This image bundles the full toolchain:
• plix run — tree-walking interpreter with readable diagnostics • plix build — native executable via Cranelift • plix exec — compile and immediately run • plix check — parse, type-check, and ownership-check • plix test — run *_test.px suites • plix fmt — source formatter • plix lint — built-in linter • plix lsp — Language Server Protocol server • plix repl — interactive shell • plix pm — package manager (auth, registry, cache, mirrors) • plix build --target wasm — WebAssembly output
The image is multi-stage built: compiled with rust:1.86-bookworm and shipped on debian:bookworm-slim with CA certificates, runs as a non-root user by default, and includes the embedded Plix runtime so no Rust toolchain is required inside the container.
