⁠Reelfake Postgres Database

This image is based on postgres official image version 17.6. Running a container on this image will seed the database with the data needed for reelfake api.

⁠Running the container

Use the below command to run the container.

docker run --name some-name -p 5432:5432 -e POSTGRES_USER=postgres -e POSTGRES_PASSWORD=password123 -d -v some-volume-name:/var/lib/postgresql/data pratapreddy15/reelfake-postgres

Replace the POSTGRES_PASSWORD with your chosen password and the postgres is the default user that the database already has. To continue seeing the log while the container comes up remove -d flag. Remember when you exit the interactive mode the container will stop and you will not manually start it again.

The volumn specified in the above command will persist the volume. So whatever changes made to the data will persist when you run the new container using the same volume.

Note: This image will only have latest tag because there is no point in versioning it.
