⁠SSDC Compiler

This image provides a ready-to-use installation of SDCC (Small Device C Compiler) for building firmware for 8-bit microcontrollers such as STM8, MCS-51, PIC, Z80, TLCS-90, and others. It allows you to compile SDCC projects without installing the toolchain on your host system.

⁠Usage

docker run --rm \
    -v "$(pwd)":/workspace \
    --workdir /workspace \
    prooma/sdcc:<version> \
    sdcc --version

Or compile a project using a Makefile:

docker run --rm \
    -v "$(pwd)":/workspace \
    --workdir /workspace \
    prooma/sdcc:<version> \
    make

Replace with the desired SDCC tag, or use latest for the newest release.

This image is designed for development environments and CI workflows where a reproducible SDCC toolchain is required.
