If you choose to use this image, continue informed that it is outdated. Also, I really really think that PostgreSQL DBs should recieve regular "minor"/"patch" updates for best security posture. All in all, if you are not willing to fork this repo and update it yourself I would not proceed.

In alternative to this, we are using the official images (ghcr.io/cloudnative-pg/postgresql)

Be aware that all Docker Images / Registry Tags are frozen for this project, no future releases are planned or expected.

You are recommended to:

1. Interview if you truly need a PostgreSQL image with wal2json.
2. Open an issue or request that I update the image if you want, for this image I wouldn't mind maintenance if it was useful to anyone, it's nbd, suprising cnpg doesn't offer anything. Yet, I just find it low prio otherwise.
3. Fork this or the original repository, update any deps + base-image, make stability improvements to the script and build the image yourself.
4. Continue to use a stale release from us without modifications understanding you are free to do so but that you were already at your own risk, and we do not recommend this either.

Includes wal2json for logical decoding (required by Teleport cluster state).

Built automatically by StageFreight CI on tagged releases.

Tag format tracks upstream PostgreSQL version (e.g. 17.9.0).
