The Banana project was forked from Kibana, and works with all kinds of time series (and non-time series) data stored in Apache Solr. It uses Kibana's powerful dashboard configuration capabilities, ports key panels to work with Solr, and provides significant additional capabilities, including new panels that leverage D3.js.

⁠Cors

You need to make sure to allow Solr CORS support or that Banana and Solr are proxied. Details can be found e.g. http://opensourceconnections.com/blog/2015/03/26/going-cross-origin-with-solr/⁠

⁠Docker Compose

Here is an example which is using the proxy approach. The host address 'solr' is used for this and you need to make sure that this is known e.g. by using the hosts command or a network definition:
