A simple react project that shows country information based on user input.

⁠App Details

The application accepts a user input and retrieves the information via these APIs⁠. The user interface is very simple. The country to be shown is found by typing a search query into the search field.

If there are too many (over 10) countries that match the query, then the user is prompted to make their query more specific. If there are fewer than ten countries, but more than one, then all countries matching the query are shown and user can pick one country whose data he wants to view.

However when the search is narrowed down to one query, some basic information about the country is shown like capital, population and languages spoken along with weather data that is extracted from WeatherStack⁠ .

⁠Usage

You can modify or extend this project by downloading the Dockerfile⁠ from repository link in github, but will have to provide an api key to retrieve weather information if that interests you.
