⁠starlinkstatus.com probe

The probe for real-time status reports on the starlink satellite network.

⁠Features

  • Realtime-map showing locations of starlink users
  • Active cell tracking
  • Network performance charts
  • Incident reports

⁠Installation

  1. Copy this command
  2. Edit the latitude and longitude to match your (approximate!) location
  3. Run the command. Everything else is automated.

Please do not enter you exact location, it is only being used to determine your starlink cell. It is not stored permanently.

curl -sL probe.starlinkstatus.com | sudo bash -s [Latitude] [Longitude]

Example:

curl -sL probe.starlinkstatus.com | sudo bash -s 33.920 -118.328

It can take up to 12 hours until your probe will appear on the map

⁠Usage

The installer creates a systemd service which can be controlled as usual:

systemctl start starlinkstatus
systemctl stop starlinkstatus

If you want the probe to start on reboot, use this:

systemctl enable starlinkstatus

  • Show starlink beta invite cells on the map
