quicksetup/wordpress repository overview

This image is for creating a fresh wordpress installation for testing purposes. It also has on board an SSH server to which you can connect. MySQL and PhpMyAdmin use the default XAMPP passwords.

⁠How to run the image:

docker run --name myContainerName -p 41061:22 -p 41062:80 -d quicksetup/wordpress

The command above will expose the SSH server on port 41061 and HTTP server on port 41062.
Feel free to use your own name for the container...

To open up the XAMPP interface: http://localhost:41062/⁠

⁠Wordpres Setup

1. Connect to phpmyadmin http://localhost:41062/phpmyadmin⁠

2. Create the database wordpress

3. Go to http://localhost:41062/wordpress⁠

Use the following settings

Databasename: wordpress Username: root Password: (Blank - Remove Text from here completly) Host: localhost

Hit install -> You are ready to go after putting in information about your site.
