⁠ASM Development Machine

⁠Description

Created to train asm, it contains working copy of:

• NASM
• HLA
• GDB
• SSH
• ZSH Shell

⁠Running asm_dev machine

Run no SSH server:

docker run -tid --name=asm_dev r1cs3c/asm_dev /bin/bash

Run SSH server:

docker run -tid --name=asm_dev -p 2001:22 r1cs3c/asm_dev /bin/bash

docker exec -ti asm_dev /bin/bash
service ssh run

Connect to ssh via port 2001, please note when choosing the ssh host machine port ensure is above 1024 to avoid the native lock on ports below 1024.

⁠HLA Compiler

To compile with HLA, the linker is not working properly as in my case I was running this in a 64bit ubuntu so needs to execute the command below to compile:

ld -m elf_i386 -s -o <output_filename> <object_filename> "/usr/hla/hlalib/hlalib.a"

Example:

ld -m elf_i386 -s -o "hw" "hw.o" "/usr/hla/hlalib/hlalib.a"

I left some code examples in the /projects/asm/ folder.
