⁠Trendkill

⁠Description

Trendkill is an agnostic RESTful Microservice, for SQL DB. It supports MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL. Use mysql2 for MySQL, mysql fpr MariaDB and pg for PostgreSQL.

Trendkill doesn't need any configuration, except for the database type and connection.

In a microservices environment it also supports Transaction Id, it logs the transaction identifier and to use it you just have to set transaction-id as the header field, in the response Trendkill will forward the given transaction id in the same field.

⁠Installation from Docker Hub

$ docker run
  -e DB_TYPE=mysql
  -e DB_HOST=127.0.0.1
  -e DB_PORT=3306
  -e DB_USERNAME=root
  -e DB_PASSWORD=root
  -e DB_DATABASE=world
  -d raffaelemancino/trendkill

⁠Installation from source

$ npm install
$ npm build
$ docker build . -t trendkill
$ docker run
  -e DB_TYPE=mysql
  -e DB_HOST=127.0.0.1
  -e DB_PORT=3306
  -e DB_USERNAME=root
  -e DB_PASSWORD=root
  -e DB_DATABASE=world
  -d trendkill

⁠Running the app

# development
$ npm run start

# watch mode
$ npm run start:dev

# production mode
$ npm run start:prod
