This image is the prebuilt image made with the source code available here at mod-docker on GitHub.
The container allows you to use the MOD Software on a standard PC rather than a phisical pedalboard. This opens up a whole new scenario, where you can use a powerful pc to run Neural Amp Modeler and other neural amp simulators without any compromise.
You should run jackd at host level before starting the containe and your user has to be part of the "audio" group, additionally you should have three local directories to be binded inside the container:
$HOME/mod-user-file
$HOME/mod-data
$HOME/mod-pedalboards
The start script will make them for you anyway
To run the image you should use the following script and docker compose file:
#!/bin/bash
export USER_NAME=$(id -un)
export USER_ID=$(id -u)
export GROUP_ID=$(id -g)
export GROUP_NAME=$(id -gn)
export PUID=$(id -u)
export PGID=$(id -g)
mkdir -p /home/$USER_NAME/mod-user-files
mkdir -p /home/$USER_NAME/mod-data
mkdir -p /home/$USER_NAME/mod-pedalboards
