This repository contains a code basis for developing a backend for the Short Answer Assessment engine in ISAAC. It was taken from the FeedBook project with full commit history, to be further developed here.

⁠Building, testing and running in Tomcat

This project uses Maven for everything from dependency management to running inside a Tomcat server. You can use mvn compile to build, mvn test to run unit tests and mvn package to create a WAR file. To run the project inside a Jetty for development purposes, use mvn jetty:run.
