⁠Quick Start

Create a compose.yaml file:

services:
  browser:
    image: raphaeljaeger/browserling:latest
    container_name: browserling
    restart: unless-stopped
    shm_size: 1gb
    ports:
      - "3389:3389"
    environment:
      RDP_PASSWORD: "change-me"
      START_URL: "https://www.google.com"
      BROWSER_LANG: "de-DE"
    volumes:
      - browserling:/home/browser/profile

volumes:
  browserling:

Start the container:

docker compose up -d

⁠Connect via RDP

Connect to your Docker host using any RDP-compatible client.

• Host: IP address or hostname of your Docker server
• Port: 3389
• Password: The value configured in RDP_PASSWORD

⁠Environment Variables

⁠Persistent Browser Profile

The Docker volume browser-profile stores browser data in /home/browser/profile.

Your browser settings, cookies, and other profile data remain available after container restarts and recreations.

⁠Security

• Use a strong RDP password.
• Do not expose port 3389 directly to the public internet.
• Use a VPN or firewall rules to restrict access.
• Keep your Docker image updated.
