yassos ("yet another simple, stupid object storage") is a standalone object storage: Manage files by uploading, downloading and versioning them easily. Attach metadata to your objects and to make your life even easier, organize your files in a folder-like structure.

Accessing files has never been easier! yassos features a web interface, tight integration into the Rapidminer platform with the help of the Yassos Connector⁠ extension, and also provides command-line tools (yassos cli / yassos ctl) to automate tasks directly from your shell.

Here are some of the key features of yassos:

• Organize files (we call them objects) in containers
• Version objects on a per-container level allowing you to easily control data lineage when reading or writing objects
• Attach attributes (metadata) to your objects to make them more meaningful
• Define automatic deletion on a per-object level empowering you to use yassos as volatile and intermediate storage for frequently changing files or as long-term data storage
• Share Objects on a Container level with Container Permissions
