⁠Docker for GNAT Ada compiler

This docker images for Ada compiler. Tags are

• gpl.{X}.slim - Debian with GNAT Community Edition installed. No GNAT Studio, no extra libraries (gnatcoll, xmlada, aunit, etc).
• gpl.{X}.fc{Y}.slim - Fedora with GNAT Community Edition installed. No GNAT Studio, no extra libraries (gnatcoll, xmlada, aunit, etc).
• gpl.{X}.fc{Y}.jupyter - the same as gpl.{X}.fc{Y}.slim with Jupyter Notebook and Ada Jupyter Kernel⁠ installed
• gnat-llvm - GNAT LLVM⁠ installed
• idf-v4.3.1 - ESP32 IDF Docker Image⁠ with Ada compiler for esp32-gnat-rts⁠ project

⁠GNAT-LLVM Ada compiler

This docker with GNAT-LLVM installed in the /gnat-llvm/ directory.

You can use it as a compiler. Here is an example how to build VSS project:

git clone https://github.com/AdaCore/VSS.git
cd VSS
docker run --rm --tmpfs /tmp/ --user user \
  --workdir /tmp/src \
  --volume $PWD:/tmp/src \
  reznik/gnat:gnat-llvm \
  gprbuild --target=llvm -P gnat/tests/vss_json_tests.gpr -p

You can create a llvm-gprbuild script and use it instead of the regular gprbuild:

cat > llvm-gprbuild <<EOF
#!/bin/bash
   docker run --rm --tmpfs /tmp/ --user user \
     --workdir /tmp/src \
     --volume \$PWD:/tmp/src \
     reznik/gnat:gnat-llvm \
     gprbuild --target=llvm "\$@"
EOF
chmod +x llvm-gprbuild
cd VSS
llvm-gprbuild -P gnat/tests/vss_json_tests.gpr -p

⁠ESP32 IDF Docker image

Clone ESP GNAT Runtime and build an example:

git clone https://github.com/reznikmm/esp32-gnat-rts.git
cd esp32-gnat-rts
docker run --rm -v $PWD:/esp32-gnat-rts -w /esp32-gnat-rts/examples/hello_world/ reznik/gnat:idf-v4.3.1 idf.py build
