riftbit/icecast-retro-streamer repository overview

⁠Based on:

• OS: Alpine Linux
• Sound transcoder: based on Riftbit Ergoz⁠ version of hirve/old-radio-sound⁠ transcoder
• Streaming: FFMpeg+Ezstream

⁠Env Params

⁠Icecast2 Connection params

• ICECAST_SERVER - Icecast2 server to send stream (required param! i.e. http://127.0.0.1:8092)
• RADIO_SOURCE_PASSWORD - password for icecast2 source connection (default: hackme, should be same with icecast source password)
• RADIO_PUBLIC_FREQ - mountpoint address, icecast stream will like i.e. .../1220am (default 1220)

⁠Ezstream params

• RADIO_NAME - Radio channel name to display (default: Fallout Wasteland Radio)
• RADIO_URL - Radio channel website url to display (default: https://riftbit.com)
• RADIO_GENRE - Radio channel genre to display (default: Wasteland Jazz)
• RADIO_DESCRIPTION - Radio channel description to display (default: Fallout styled radio)
• RADIO_PUBLIC_LIST - Should this radio channel to be published in Icecast YP (default: 0)

⁠Stream params

• RADIO_FREQ - radio frequency, will initialize the random generator to make "air conditions" repeatable (default: 1220)
• STREAM_MAIN - base stream source to listen (default: http://icepe6.infomaniak.ch:80/jazz-wr01-128.mp3 or use retro russian stream http://stream128.melodiafm.spb.ru:8000/melodia128 - it sounds awesome, back in USSR)
• STREAM_BG - background stream source to make some noise on radio (default: http://icepe2.infomaniak.ch:80/swingfm-128.mp3)
• RADIO_POWER - level of main audio stream in microvolts, the value may be in the range 1...10 or other if you like (default: 4)
• PAYLOAD_SIGNAL_ECHO (default: 0.5)
• BACKGROUND_SIGNAL (default: 0.2)
• INTERFERENCE_NOISE (default: 0.1)
• WHITE_NOISE (default: 0.3)
