Minimal Slackware64-current + slacker (resolve-stock). ~40-64MB pull.
4.7K
A minimal Slackware64-current container built on the Slackware64-Current-sofiles dependency database. ~54MB pull, 31 packages + slacker — a Slackware package manager in Rust (slackpkg + slackpkg+ in one).
docker run --rm -it rizitis/slackware-slacker:slacker-very_mini-testing
Real glibc, real GNU userland, real pkgtools — every official Slackware
package installs and runs, resolved by slacker's resolve-stock.
The image ships without gnupg and without a system CA store — slacker's TLS is rustls with bundled roots. It arms itself in three steps:
slacker update — repo metadata and the dependency database,
md5-verified over HTTPS. (First pick a mirror: slacker find-mirror, then
uncomment one line in /etc/slacker/mirrors.)slacker install gnupg2 — resolve-stock reads the database's precomputed
closure table and pulls exactly the crypto chain: 15 packages, not 300.slacker update gpg — pins the Slackware signing key (trust-on-first-use);
flip VERIFY=all in /etc/slacker/slacker.conf for full GPG verification
from then on.From there, slacker install <anything> works: the closure table knows what
every stock package needs to run on a bare system — library-loader chains
only, tool-only deps never cascade. Verified live: gnupg2 → 15 packages,
ffmpeg → 66, xsnow → 37 (the whole GTK3 stack, loads first try).
docker run --rm -it rizitis/slackware-slacker:slacker-very_mini-testing \
bash -c "slacker update --yes && slacker upgrade-all --yes"

Everything is up to date.
ghcr.io/rizitis/slackware64-current-ci:slacker-very_mini-testingStatus: testing. Built for CI and for exercising slacker on a bare system. Apache-2.0, by Ioannis Anagnostakis (rizitis).
ΝΟΤΕ: sbopkg-ci_slacker-very_mini-testing image, is WIP: in very early testing status it include an mimic version of sbopkg commands under /usr/local/sbin/sbopkg-ci and using "ponce" repo for slackware64-current.
Usage: slacker update --yes && slacker install-template sbo_env --yes && sbopkg-ci -r
ls /etc/slacker/templates/ list all templates, you may create your own templates there too.
