The tag has two components: Ubuntu version and MKL version. 14.04.5-2017.3 = Ubuntu Trusty (14.04.5) with MKL version 2017.3 16.04-2017.3 = Ubuntu Xenial (16.04.2) with MKL version 2017.3
Only Intel 64 edition is installed plus removal of unused documents and other unused components.
