robertripoll/latex-cv repository overview

Docker Latex CV

The Docker image has the necessary tools to compile LaTeX files into PDF files, whether in bulk or not.

Usage

The Docker container is equipped with the following tools:

  • exiftool
  • pdflatex

When running a container using this image, two volumes must be mounted:

  1. Input folder: where the LaTeX files to compile will be located. It must point to the container's /data/src directory.
  2. Output folder: where the compiled PDF files will be stored. It must point to the container's /data/out directory.

The container will also provide the following two scripts, which can be executed inside the container:

  • compile-tex: Requires an argument containing the path to the LaTeX file to compile. The compiled PDF will be placed in ../out under the current directory context.
  • batch-compile-tex: Compiles every .tex file located in the working directory. The compiled PDFs will be placed in ../out under the current directory context.
  • noop: A no-operation loop for running the container in the background.
