\n\n## Usage\n\nYou can pull the latest image using:\n\n```sh\ndocker pull humanmade/tachyon\n```\n\nOr build the Dockerfile locally using:\n\n```sh\ngit clone --recursive https://github.com/humanmade/tachyon-docker.git\ncd tachyon-docker\ndocker build --tag humanmade/tachyon ./\n```\n\nThe container should always be run with the following environment variables:\n\n```sh\ndocker run -d \\\n --name tachyon\n -e AWS_REGION= \\\n -e AWS_S3_BUCKET= \\\n -e AWS_S3_ENDPOINT= \\\n humanmade/tachyon\n```\n\nYou may need to ensure that the container can see your S3 server. There\nare a few ways to do this:\n\n1. Add to the hosts file when running the container using\n ```\n --add-host :\n ```\n\n2. Link the container to your s3 container and use that endpoint\n ```\n --link s3\n -e AWS_S3_ENDPOINT=http://s3:/\n ```\n\n## Running on a custom port\n\nBecause the default port for the service is `8080` you can customise this for better compatibility with docker compose and reverse proxies like Traefik that assign dynamic ports for services unless specifically mapped.\n\nPass the `PORT` environment variable on start up like so:\n\n```yml\nservices:\n tachyon:\n image: humanmade/tachyon\n environment:\n PORT: 8085\n AWS_REGION: ...\n AWS_S3_BUCKET: ...\n AWS_S3_ENDPOINT: ...\n```\n\n## Vagrant\n\nThis repo comes with a `Vagrantfile` to let you set up a local instance\nor instances of Tachyon coupled to a fake S3 server courtesy of\n[the fake-s3 project](https://github.com/jubos/fake-s3).\n\n## Vagrant Plugins\n\nYou'll need to install two Vagrant plugins for this container to provision correctly.\n\n1. `vagrant plugin install vagrant-hostsupdater`\n2. `vagrant plugin install vagrant-vbguest`\n\nMake sure to do a recursive clone of this repo:\n\n```sh\ngit clone --recursive https://github.com/humanmade/tachyon-docker.git\ncd tachyon-docker\nvagrant up\n```\n\nYou'll get 2 servers by default:\n\n```\ntchyn.srv # Tachyon image proxy server\ns3.srv # Fake S3 server\n```\n\nThe S3 server can be used locally by providing the `endpoint` argument\nto your AWS client be it the CLI, JS or PHP SDKs.\n\n## WordPress\n\nTo use this with WordPress and the\n[S3-Uploads](https://github.com/humanmade/S3-Uploads) plugin locally you\nwould add the following to your config file:\n\n```php\ndefine( 'S3_UPLOADS_BUCKET_URL', 'http://s3.srv/local' );\ndefine( 'S3_UPLOADS_BUCKET', 'local' );\n\n// These can be any non falsy value\ndefine( 'S3_UPLOADS_KEY', 'missing' );\ndefine( 'S3_UPLOADS_SECRET', 'missing' );\ndefine( 'S3_UPLOADS_REGION', 'eu-west-1' );\n```\n\nAnd add a small script to your mu-plugins folder:\n\n```php\n
