The bananana.dev agent for Unraid, TrueNAS and Synology: connects the host to your bananana brain.
263
Connects the machine it runs on to your bananana.dev brain: live CPU, memory, disk, temperature and network readings, processes, Docker containers, files and a terminal, with alerts, from the dashboard and the bananana.dev apps. It connects out through an end-to-end encrypted relay; no ports are opened.
This image is for NAS systems without a normal service manager (Unraid, TrueNAS, Synology). Other Linux machines, Macs and Windows PCs use the installer from the brain.
On your brain, open Nodes › Add node › Install command, pick Docker and create the command. It looks like this:
docker run -d --name bananana-node --restart unless-stopped --privileged --pid=host --net=host --uts=host -v bananana-node:/data -e BANANANA_NODE_TOKEN='bnn-…' romanvaxman/bananana-node
It runs privileged and shares the host's processes, network and name because it reports and manages the machine itself, not just its own container. What it may do (terminal, files, service control) is chosen when you create the code, and the agent enforces it. Screen control isn't available in the container.
