romonzamanbd/opensips repository overview

OpenSIPS Docker Hub Readme

Welcome to the OpenSIPS Docker Hub repository!

This repository contains Docker images for the OpenSIPS SIP server. OpenSIPS is a versatile and powerful SIP server that can be used for a wide range of applications, from simple SIP proxies to complex SIP routing and load balancing systems.

In this repository, you will find Docker images for different versions of OpenSIPS, including the latest stable release. Each image is based on a lightweight Alpine Linux distribution, which means that they are small in size and quick to download and deploy.

Getting Started

To use the OpenSIPS Docker images, you will need to have Docker installed on your system. If you don't have Docker installed, you can download it from the Docker website.

Once you have Docker installed, you can pull the latest OpenSIPS image from Docker Hub by running the following command:

docker pull romonzamanbd/opensips:v1

This will download the latest OpenSIPS image to your system. You can then run a container from the image using the following command:

docker run -it --name myopensips romonzamanbd/opensips:v1

This will start a new container running OpenSIPS. You can then connect to the container and start using OpenSIPS by running the following command:

docker exec -it myopensips opensipsctl

This will open the OpenSIPS Control Panel, which you can use to configure and manage your OpenSIPS server.

Building Your Own Image

If you need to customize the OpenSIPS image for your specific use case, you can create your own Dockerfile and build your own image. You can start with the base OpenSIPS image and add your own configuration files and scripts.

For example, you can create a Dockerfile like the following:

FROM romonzamanbd/opensips:v1
COPY opensips.cfg /usr/local/etc/romonzamanbd/opensips:v1.cfg
CMD ["opensips", "-c"]

This Dockerfile copies a custom configuration file into the image and sets the default command to start OpenSIPS with that configuration file.

You can then build the image using the following command:

docker build -t myopensips .

This will build a new Docker image called "myopensips" based on your Dockerfile. You can then run a container from your new image using the following command:

docker run -it --name myopensips myopensips
