The Symfony application has to be mounted on /var/www/html You can access using 8080 port to run the application with app_dev.php controller
The docker runs the cron and the sendmail services
At the start it always runs:
composer self
composer update
rm -rf var/cache/*
php bin/console cache:clear --env=prod --no-debug
php bin/console cache:warmup
php bin/console assets:install --symlink
php bin/console assetic:dump --env=prod
chown -R www-data:www-data var/cache
chown -R www-data:www-data var/logs
chmod ug+rwx var/cache
chmod ug+rwx var/logs
An example using docker-compose:
web:
image: rvntone/nginx-symfony:latest
container_name: "my_symfony_app"
volumes:
- "/my/local/folder:/var/www/html"
You could use the tag 2.x for and Symfony application 2.8 (use the old folder names var and logs in app)
