RESTful API for database visualization

⁠Build

Add database credentials for two database mediabase and las2peer into config.properties file

1. db.dbSchema_databasename=your database schema
2. db.dbpassword_databasename=database password
3. db.dbuser_databasename=database user
4. db.dbType_databasename=type of database, currently either DB2 or MySQL
5. db.dburl_databasename=database url, format: database server:port:database name on server

Execute following command in command line

ant all

The unit tests only work on specific databases, therefore they are skipped in the build process. If access to the specific databases is specified in the config.properties file and the tests should be executed, set the property junit to true.

⁠Deployment

Navigate to mobsos-community-analytics/RESTAPI/bin and execute the following

start_network.bat/sh

The URL of the API is shown above the dashed line.
