⁠ManagePro Overview

ManagePro is a personal project I started as part of my learning and review process, focusing on developing a full-stack web application. This Docker setup includes three essential components—Nginx, Postgres, and the web application—bundled together using Docker Compose.

To get started, simply run:

docker pull ryoskie/manage-pro

⁠Challenges and Solutions

While using Docker for ManagePro, I faced a few challenges that provided useful insights into containerized environments:

1. TailwindCSS Not Working: Initially, TailwindCSS styles were not being applied due to a path issue. I resolved this by generating the .css file manually and ensuring that the default TailwindCSS file was included correctly.

2. Prisma Migrations: Managing the database with Prisma posed challenges during migration and deployment. I addressed this by refining the Prisma configuration, ensuring that both migrations and deployments were handled smoothly.

3. ESLint Rules: I encountered issues with ESLint configurations, which were resolved by carefully managing and adjusting the ESLint rules to better align with the project’s structure and coding standards.

⁠Conclusion

This project has been a valuable journey, allowing me to deepen my understanding of Docker, web development, and best practices. ManagePro serves as both a functional application and a hands-on learning experience in building scalable, maintainable systems.
