Docker image for a simple web application in Node.js.
1.8K
The goal of this example is to show you how to get a Node.js application into a Docker container.
To get a local copy of the image:
docker pull safdarj/node-web-app
Start a container based on your new image:
docker run -d -p 8080:8080 safdarj/node-web-app
Visit your application in a browser at http://localhost:8080. You should see your hello world application up and running.
View license information for Node.js or license information for this Docker project.
As with all Docker images, these likely also contain other software which may be under other licenses (such as Bash, etc from the base distribution, along with any direct or indirect dependencies of the primary software being contained).
Some additional license information which was able to be auto-detected might be found in the repo-info repository's ubuntu/ directory.
As for any pre-built image usage, it is the image user's responsibility to ensure that any use of this image complies with any relevant licenses for all software contained within.
