From the command line, it's easy enough with curl or HTTPie to pull down a webpage. But have you ever needed to get just the human readable contents of a page without all the webpage display formatting?
The handy hget utility, here in containerized form, let's you do that with ease.
docker run --rm -it saltaaron/just-hget <webpage-url> (note: output is paged for easier reading from your terminal)
Or, to save it into a file, add the --no-paging flag and redirect the output into a file: docker run --rm -it saltaaron/just-hget https://salt.security/blog/forbes-singles-out-salts-amazing-growth --no-paging > text.txt
You can even output Markdown by further adding the --markdown flag for a hybrid approach to keeping some formatting while still maintaining human readability: docker run --rm -it saltaaron/just-hget https://salt.security/blog/forbes-singles-out-salts-amazing-growth --no-paging --markdown > text.md
