samitpal/goprobe repository overview

goProbe is a black box probe service written in Go programming language. It currently supports probe metric exposition in json (default) as well as prometheus compatible format.

Currently it has a built in http probe module and a ping_port module. The latter helps probe a host:port using tcp/udp.

To run the program use the following command,

docker run -dt -p :8080:8080 samitpal/goprobe
