schinckel/fronius-dashboard repository overview

Dashboard for viewing current power generation and consumption from a Fronius Inverter and Smart Meter.

https://schinckel.net/2019/12/09/fronius-dashboard/

You can either run with an MQTT broker that publishes the data in the format:

{
    "generation": P_PV,
    "consumption": P_Load,
    "grid": P_Grid,
    "energy": E_Day,
    "battery": P_Akku,
    "battery-charge": <battery-state-of-charge>
}

Using the form:

$ docker run \
  --publish 4000:4000 \
  --detach \
  --restart always \
  --name fronius-dashboard \
  --env BROKER_URL=mqtt://mqtt.lan \
  --env TOPIC=solar/current \
  --env INVERTER_SIZE=5000 \
  schinckel/fronius-dashboard:latest

(See schinckel/fronius-mqtt for an image that will publish this data)

You will need so set your INVERTER_SIZE to the sum of any inverters you have: the battery-charge value will only get the state-of-charge from the first battery it detects.

Or, if you want this to poll the inverter directly:

$ docker run \
  --publish 4000:4000 \
  --detach \
  --restart always \
  --name fronius-dashboard \
  --env INVERTER=mqtt.lan \
  --env INVERTER_SIZE=5000 \
  schinckel/fronius-dashboard:latest

Don't forget to set up port forwards (and dynamic host name) to view from outside of your local network.
