⁠mc-mirror — unmodified copy of the official MinIO Client image

⁠What this is

This repository holds an unmodified version of the MinIO Client (mc): the official container image published by MinIO, Inc., re-tagged and pushed as is. It is the linux/amd64 variant of the upstream image quay.io/minio/mc:RELEASE.2025-02-04T04-57-50Z: same layers, same image configuration (image ID sha256:255b26ee612d17cc09ed0fddf20911c17dff1f3dc07e9895ef14d50785818f9a). Nothing has been rebuilt, patched or added. The manifest digest differs from upstream only because upstream published a multi-architecture index, while this copy carries the amd64 image alone; no arm64 variant is available here.

It exists because MinIO, Inc. withdrew its community images from Docker Hub and then from quay.io, which now deny anonymous pulls for every tag. We keep this copy so that existing deployments of our software, and our CI, can still pull the exact release they were validated against.
