⁠About

  • Docker image for gollum - "A simple, Git-powered wiki with a sweet API and local frontend"
  • Images are tagged with a build timestamp for unique identification
  • There are rolling tags for the gollum release version, like 5 will provide the latest 5.x.y release and 5.0 the latest 5.0.y release of gollum
  • images are quite big because they are based on the official ruby:2.5, ruby:2.6 or ruby:2.7⁠ image
  • Before official release of gollum 5.0 there are older images in the repository for historical reasons.

⁠Usage

  • example: docker run -v $(pwd)/wiki:/wiki -p 127.0.0.1:3080:8080 scolytus/gollum:latest --port 8080 --emoji
    • the directory wiki in your current working directory will be used as the wiki to serve
    • make sure the wiki directory exists and contains an already initialized git repository
    • you can access your wiki under http://localhost:3080/⁠
  • all gollum command line arguments are supported - see https://github.com/gollum/gollum#configuration⁠
  • the docker run command can be used as a drop-in replacement for the command gollum
