scriptbash/basinmaker repository overview

This image will no longer be maintained. It has been replaced by the scriptbash/qraven image which does the same thing as this one but also includes the GridWeights generator script by julemai

This container has BasinMaker v3.0.0 installed with its dependencies and runs on Ubuntu Jammy.

To run the container, use the following commands:

docker pull scriptbash/basinmaker

docker run -it --name bmaker scriptbash/basinmaker

---

For some reason, even though BasinMaker is command line only, Qt requires a display to be connected. In order to bypass this, you will need to run the following command in the container to fake a display : Xvfb :99 -screen 0 640x480x8 -nolisten tcp &

You will also need to copy your script and your data required for BasinMaker from your computer to the container using docker cp. For example: docker cp folder_with_data bmaker:/destination/folder

This image was made to be used in a QGIS plugin named QRaven that allows users to easily use BasinMaker within QGIS.
