scriptbash/qraven repository overview

This image was made to be used in a QGIS plugin named QRaven that allows users to easily use BasinMaker and GridWeightsGenerator within QGIS.

The container has BasinMaker v3.0.0 installed with its dependencies and runs on Ubuntu Jammy. It also includes the GridWeightsGenerator script.

To run the container, use the following commands:

docker pull scriptbash/qraven

docker run -it --name qraven scriptbash/qraven

For some reason, even though BasinMaker is command line only, Qt requires a display to be connected. In order to bypass this, you will need to run the following command in the container to fake a display : Xvfb :99 -screen 0 640x480x8 -nolisten tcp &

You will also need to copy your script and your data required for BasinMaker from your computer to the container using docker cp. For example: docker cp folder_with_data bmaker:/destination/folder

To use the GridWeights generator script, you can use volumes instead of copying the files, since the netCDF files could be quite heavy to copy. The script is stored in /home/root/GridWeights
