The Dockerfile creates two cron jobs that run every minute and write the total size and the usage of the volume /nexus-data is mounted on to a file in /metrics. These metrics are then exported to prometheus through prometheus-filesystem-exporter⁠. This is just a workaround until kubernetes native PV monitoring is available: https://github.com/kubernetes/features/issues/293⁠
