⁠Get Started with DRM API Server

⁠Pre-Requisites

⁠System Configurations
  • CPU : Minimum 2 vCPU
  • RAM: 2 GB or above
  • Hard disk : 20 GB or more
  • Operating System : RHEL (Server with GUI): 8.4, 8.6, 8.8, 9.1 OR Ubuntu Desktop: 20.04, 22.04
⁠Software dependencies
  • Docker engine v25.0.X should be installed.
⁠Network
  • Port 8443 for allowing incoming requests to the Server.
  • Docker hub URL https://hub.docker.com and PolicyServer URL should be accessible from the server machine.
⁠Database dependencies:
  • Any one of the below Databases is required:
    1. MSSQL Server
    2. Oracle Database
    3. PostgreSQL
    4. MySQL
⁠Network Attached Storage
  • NAS will be required if using NAS for file storage.
⁠S3 Bucket
  • S3 bucket name and region if using S3 for file storage.

⁠Step 1: Install Oras

For Linux(Ubuntu) you can execute following command

ORAS_VERSION="1.2.1"
curl -LO "https://github.com/oras-project/oras/releases/download/v${ORAS_VERSION}/oras_${ORAS_VERSION}_linux_amd64.tar.gz"
mkdir -p oras-install/
tar -zxf oras_${ORAS_VERSION}_*.tar.gz -C oras-install/
sudo mv oras-install/oras /usr/local/bin/
rm -rf oras_${ORAS_VERSION}_*.tar.gz oras-install/

⁠Step 2: Fetch package

oras pull -o ./artifacts docker.io/seclore/drm-api-server:artifacts_3.3.3.0

This will download an artifacts folder in your current directory

Refer artifacts->documents->deployment-guide.pdf for further steps

⁠Optional Step: Uninstall Oras

Use below command to uninstall oras

sudo rm -rf /usr/local/bin/oras
