semaphoreci/haskell repository overview

Semaphore Haskell

Semaphore CI/CD jobs can be run inside Docker images. This allows you to define a custom build environment with pre-installed tools and dependencies needed for your project. To allow fast bootstrapping of custom environments, Semaphore comes with a set of pre-built convenience images. This repository contains pre-built convenience images for haskell. It comes with a set of pre-installed development tools and utilities commonly needed in CI/CD environments. The following is installed:

  • Development tools and utilities: eg. git, curl, wget.
  • Docker and docker-compose.

A fully customized Docker image is always the most optimal way to set up a build environment. If you don't want to build your own fully customized image yet, the convenience images are a good first choice for your project.

How to use the images

To use the images in this repository for your CI/CD pipelines, set up your Semaphore YAML with:

version: v1.0
name: Hello haskell
agent:
  machine:
    type: e1-standard-2
  containers:
    - name: main
      image: semaphoreci/haskell:version
blocks:
  - name: "Hello"
    task:
      jobs:
      - name: Hello
        commands:
          - checkout
          - echo "Hello"

Detailed examples and documentation about setting up a CI/CD environment with Docker is covered in Custom CI/CD environment with Docker documentation page.

Image Variants

The haskell image.
