Running this image requires 3.25 GB of RAM available for the container. If you are running the container on Docker for Mac or Docker for Windows, please adjust the amount of RAM available to Docker to 4 GB.

To run this image: docker run -e 'ACCEPT_EULA=Y' -e 'SA_PASSWORD=yourStrong(!)Password' -p 1433:1433 -d microsoft/mssql-server-linux

SA_PASSWORD is the system administrator (userid = 'sa') password used to connect to SQL Server once the container is running.
