This base image is used for applications that need to use Tomcat, the hardening process is carried out on it, optimizing and installing only the necessary configurations to run the application.
Commands to build image:
cd docker-images-base/tomcat9-base
VERSION=2.0
docker build -f Dockerfile -t sensedia/tomcat9-base:$VERSION .
Commands to run container:
docker run -it --rm sensedia/tomcat9-base:$VERSION sh
#or
docker run -p 8080:8080 -it --rm sensedia/tomcat9-base:$VERSION
Run the command to verify vulnerabilities.
mkdir /tmp/caches;
docker run --rm -v /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock -v /tmp/caches:/root/.cache/ aquasec/trivy image sensedia/tomcat9-base:$VERSION
Command to auth Docker Hub account of Sensedia:
docker login -u sensedia -p PASSWORD
Create tag to the remote repository:
docker tag sensedia/tomcat9-base:$VERSION sensedia/tomcat9-base:latest
Send images do Docker Registry remote.
docker push sensedia/tomcat9-base:$VERSION
docker push sensedia/tomcat9-base:latest
The new image will be published in https://hub.docker.com/r/sensedia/tomcat9-base/.
