⁠kube-lint

kube-lint is an application designed to perform best practices checks on Kubernetes manifests, and running Kubernetes clusters.

⁠Requirements

Currently only Linux and MacOS are supported as the OS because Go only supports plugins on those platforms.

kube-lint is available as a Docker image on all platforms, however.

⁠Overview

kube-lint is a plugin-based application for linting your Kubernetes infrastructure. Linters can be customized through the JSON configuration file, or using Annotations on your Kubernetes objects.

This allows kube-lint to be highly flexible, allowing you to write and build your own plugins without ever needing to rebuild your kube-lint binary.
