⁠Phovea-IDE

This is a docker image providing a simple IDE environment for a running phovea workspace based on the Alm⁠ Typescript IDE.

⁠Usage

⁠start container

mkdir my_ws
cd my_ws
docker run --name ide1 -v "${pwd}:/phovea" -p "8080:8080" -p "4444:4444" sgratzl/phovea-ide

this will clone a set of repositories int the current workspace and installs all dependencies (node and python). After the one time initialization three processes are started

• Alm IDE at Port 4444 -> http://localhost:4444/⁠
• Webpack Dev Server at port 8080 -> http://localhost:8080/⁠
• Python Backend Server at port 9000 -> usually not needed

all require username/password authentification by default this is admin/admin, see below

⁠stop container

docker stop ide1

⁠delete everything

docker rm ide1
cd ..
rm -rf my_ws

⁠relevant docker environment variables

• PHOVEA_USER (default: admin) username to login
• PHOVEA_PASS (default: admin) password to login
• PHOVEA_REPOS (default: phovea/phovea_security_flask;datavisyn/tdp_core;Caleydo/tdp_dummy;Caleydo/ordino) list of repositories separated by semicolon. Attention right now it is assumed that these repos have a develop branch that is used
• PHOVEA_APP (default: ordino) phovea application to start
• PHOVEA_WS (default: tdp_dummy) phovea plugin to start the Alm IDE in
