Docker image inheritance:

• shift/java:8
• shift/ubuntu:15.04
• ubuntu:15.04

⁠Volumes

Logstashes configuration directory is /srv/logstash/config

⁠Ports

Exposed ports:

• 9292/tcp

⁠Example usage

docker run -d \
  --name logstash \
  -e LOGSTASH_TRACE=true \
  -p 9292:9292 \
  -e LOGSTASH_CONFIG_URL=http://example.com/my-logstash.conf \
  --link elasticsearch:elasticsearch \
  shift/logstash:1.5.0 agent

The container takes the following:

• agent - Start the logstash agent.
• configtest - Tests the configuration file is valid.
• shell - Gives a Bash shell.

Make sure to use ELASTICSEARCH_HOST and ELASTICSEARCH_PORT if using a --link to Elasticsearch.
