Base image for deployment of games using the Trial engine
1.2K
A docker image to facilitate easier building and releasing of games based on the Trial game engine.
This image is built from the trial-deployment repository.
Within the image you have direct access to the deploy.lisp, sbcl-lin, sbcl-win commands from the above repository, as well as a native sbcl with Quicklisp and all pre-setup, and the butler and steamcmd tools to push to itch.io and Steam.
A basic workflow file to build your game might look something like this:
name: Release
on: [create, workflow_dispatch]
jobs:
build:
runs-on: trial-deployment
env:
RELEASE_PROJECT: my-game-release
RELEASE_SECRETS: ${{ secrets.SECRETS }}
steps:
- name: Restore cache
id: cache-ql
uses: actions/cache@v3
with:
path: |
~/.cache/common-lisp
~/.wine/drive_c/users/runner/AppData/Local/cache/common-lisp
key: ql
- uses: actions/checkout@v1
- name: Setup
run: |
ln -s ~/quicklisp/local-projects/project $GITHUB_WORKSPACE
sbcl --non-interactive --eval '(ql:update-all-dists :prompt NIL)'
- name: Build
run: |
deploy.lisp build
deploy.lisp test
- name: Deploy
run: |
deploy.lisp deploy
deploy.lisp bundle
- name: Upload
run: |
env $RELEASE_SECRETS deploy.lisp upload
Where my-game-release is the name of the release system as documented in Trial/Release
